We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mathematician for Slots to join our innovative team and contribute to the development of engaging and profitable gaming experiences. In this role, you will immerse yourself in the intricacies of game design and mathematical modeling, utilizing your expertise to analyze and optimize game mechanics and payout structures. You will collaborate with game designers and software developers to create compelling slot algorithms and ensure fair and entertaining gameplay. Your analytical skills and passion for mathematics will be essential in enhancing player engagement and driving the success of our slots portfolio. Relevant experience in game development will help you deliver your game to other teams.

About you:

• Talent for solving abstract and highly complex math problems

• High attention to detail: the ability to spot even small mistakes in your math models and troubleshoot them

• Ability to quickly prototype rough ideas

• Interest in games, both from a developer's and a player's point of view

• Data-driven and analytical mindset in decision-making

• Motivated by challenges and stretch goals

• Conversational English level

Will be a huge plus:

• Experience working as a game mathematician in online gambling

• Experience in game development

• Experience in Python

• Strong mathematical intuition, creativity, and curiosity

• Understanding of how slot games work and how to make game mechanics that are fun to play within desired game parameters (RTP, volatility, etc.)

• Ability to look at games from the players’ point of view

• Practical experience with workflow management tools (Jira), collaboration software (Confluence), and data analytics platforms (Tableau, Google Analytics)

What goals will you have?:

• Develop engaging game mathematics and mechanics in collaboration with Product Owners

• Fine-tune game mathematics and mechanics into the best possible product

• Perform simulations of game math to understand how it compares with the desired outcome and with other games in the portfolio

• Provide competitive game math analysis to reveal valuable insights

• Analyze risks and determine the probability of wins for player investigations

• Rapid prototyping of game mechanics to prove the concept

• Be involved in the game creation process from start to finish

• Collaborate with development teams and provide game math specifications

• Be a discussion sparring partner inside our team to help build better products
